Holiday Inn Peterborough - West

Thorpe Wood, Peterborough PE3 6SG, UK – 01733 289988

Used conference rooms only. Good lounge area. Lots of room choice, well equipt. Love the biscuits, sweets and nibbles provided. Sandwiches a little dull and portions for 4 a little on the light side. Good parking. Air conditioning quite hard to fathom.

This is such a great hotel with so much to offer guests. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. Even the General manager goes out of his way to take interest in you and your family. They offered recommendations for things to do and nothing was any trouble what's so ever. I will definitely stay here again and they are a credit to the IHG group

Dragonfly Hotel Peterborough - Surya Hotels

Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough PE3 6GA, UK – 01733 564240

A bit in need of a paint but everything else is good. The staff are genuinely pleasant, friendly and bend over backwards to help. Very impressed indeed. My in-laws are staying there and they are disabled with very reduced mobility and the staff went well out their way to make sure they have everything they need. The food is good honest hearty stuff with a bit extra. They could do with a cask ale behind the bar. Overall the people make this place as well as the delightful setting.

Clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. It shows its age and could really do with a lick of paint and tidying up but great for a night away and a great price. Parking is free on site you just need to register your car with reception. If you are here be sure to visit the pub next door as they have amazing offers and the food is absolutely sublime.

The Bull Hotel

Westgate, Peterborough PE1 1RB, UK – 01733 561364

Lovely central location and surprisingly quiet too. It is good that you can easily get parked. The hotel is stunning and had great history. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu is great and has a good range.

This is a really nice hotel nice and central for the pubs and there is a shopping centre opposite and lots of shops on the street next to it. The rooms are clean and our bathroom was a good size. The staff were very pleasant in all departments. The one thing our party was not keen on was being served the cooked breakfast, they do prefer to help themselves but the food was nice with a good choice. I would stay again in the hotel but Peterborough is to far away from Newmarket races for my liking.

The Beehive

62 Albert Pl, Peterborough PE1 1DD, UK – 01733 310600

I absolutely love this place. I got engaged here last year and the staff were so lovely and friendly that we came back for our anniversary. The quality of their fish and chips is outstanding, they have a range of drinks to choose from and the boardgames built into the tables is just amazing. It turns a boring old pub trip in to an entertaining evening and they also have a pool table which is a rare find in a pub nowerdays. Absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone wanting a more interesting and fun night out with friendly staff who are always happy to help. I can't wait to go back again just as soon as we find a babysitter 😁

Very friendly staff work here; they made both my daughter and I very welcome on arrival. The Beehive has recently been refurbished and certainly lends itself to serving all levels of clients from families, couples and groups of friends. Good value for money too!

Sir Henry Royce

1-3 The Broadway, Peterborough PE1 1TA, UK – 01733 358070

Regular Sunday Breakfast Place....Decent food and good booze.. Service in the mornings can be better. But would rate a 4 out of 5

Yeah Henry Royce has a lot going on, the music is good, dancey and the dancefloor, not the biggest mind you was often full. The pool table was popular despite not having a light. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff were ok. The toilets were, yes you guessed it upstairs. There is a good mix of people getting in so all in all quite nice.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!
