Fratelli Tavolacalda

2- 3 Rivergate Shopping Centre, Peterborough PE1 1EL, UK – 01733 313669

An absolutely stunning family owned restaurant with excellent atmosphere. Outstanding Sicilian food and wine served by friendly and attentive staff. Members of the local Italian community eat here!

Delicious Italian food and very lovely place with a Italian decoration! Service was very nice! I always go there for a family dinner.

Bombay Brasserie

47 Broadway, Peterborough PE1 1SQ, UK – 01733 565606

The sunday buffet is not that good..They serve starters at the table. We were a group of 8 adults and 3 children. The non veg starters were not enough in quantity and there were only 2 variants one chicken and one lamb. The main course spread was average with only the lamb preparation standing out. The chicken Korma was too sweet! The veg preparations were not bad though. There were no desserts in the buffet which was surprising!! Overall it was an ordinary experience.

Love the food and service. The fixed price menu is simply great. The manager is a lovely guy. Very polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Côte Brasserie

4 Church St, Peterborough PE1 1XR, UK – 01733 306352

The dessert was the highlight for us at this restaurant. The service was good with helpful waiters and quite quick delivery of our order to our table. We had the set menu which is available when you have dinner before 7pm. We had 3 courses but needed them to be satisfied. I would recommend ordering a side dish here as the serving sizes are not overly big. We were also able to choose which table we would like to sit at which was nice. This restaurant is part of a chain and can be found in various locations across England.

Omg, the breakfast is amazing. The vegetarian breakfast is too die for. Wonderful flavours and so much food for the price. My partner had a crepe which also looked delicious. Only downside was being seated near the coffee machine which was quite loud

35 Brook St, Peterborough PE1 1TU, UK – 01733 313117

Last week, Tuesday 1st May 2018, my friend and I met up to arrange a forthcoming holiday. We chose Jenas as we have both eaten there on and off over the years and my friend still orders take away. A phone call in advance to book a table wasn’t necessary and we were told just to turn up. We arrived and we told that they were not serving alcohol,(possibly no license), which was not an issue as we are not great drinkers anyway. Throughout the evening the restaurant was totally empty barr us, which is a shame considering the number of tables and taking into account that it was such a vibrant place in the past. We ordered our food, starters and main. Despite the fact that the restaurant has obviously had it’s problems in recent years I am delighted to say that the food was really very good, there was plenty of it and at a very reasonable price. I would award the food 4.5 stars, unfortunately the lack of atmosphere let’s the place down dramatically, which is why I only gave 3 stars,...BUT we did go on a Tuesday, so there’s a good chance it will be better on a weekend? Fingers crossed the owners will be able to turn it round.

The food was amazing, can honestly say the best Indian I have ever had, just a shame there were no other customers, I honestly can't understand why. This was Friday at 7pm

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

52-53 Cumbergate, Peterborough PE1 1YR, UK – 01733 890752

Went here for a Birthday celebration yesterday and they looked after us very well. One of our party had special dietary requirements and it was dealt with without problems and they accomodatd her needs very well. The food was excellent and service brilliant so all in all, really pleased

Now this is what you call authentic Italian dining experience. Lovely and super tasty food. My children and me enjoyed pasta served. Very high class service. Staff frienly and attentive. I have this thing about nice plates and clean glasses. Unfortunately most of eating places in P'oro have dreadful looking glasses and oily cutlery but that wasn't the case at Carluccio's.

Frankie & Benny's

Boongate Retail Park, Peterborough PE1 5SX, UK – 01733 890225

Always love going to this place. Food is always amazing! If you like Italian American dinning then this place is definitely worth a visit! Everything from pastas to stakes and pizzas and grills. Food is always cooked perfect and its an open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked. Dinning area is comfortable with tables and booths being available. Drinks selection is fantastic with a large wine list and a fully stocked bar with beers on draft and plenty of spirits. Also a large cocktail menu too so might be best to get a cab rather then drive. Price is very reasonable too, also a special lunch time menu at a very good price. Will return again and again. One of our favorite places to eat.

Absolutely superb! One of the best burgers I have ever had, it really was excellent. + good value + generous portion sizes + delicious burger relish + good quality meat + really fresh and tasty salad + well kept / clean toilet facilities + friendly and helpful staff + great 80s playlist - The only criticism I have is that the salad dressing was really peppery and overpowering. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and aim to go back there when I'm in that part of the country again.

Frankie & Benny's

Unit 3, Plot D1 Cygnet Park, Peterborough PE7 8FD, UK – 01733 898500

Monday lunchtime around 2pm was quiet but still nice atmosphere, greeted quickly upon arrival. Had food from lunch menu. Good portion sizes. Staff friendly but not intrusive, no extraordinary service to report, only negative comment was as so quiet we did finish drinks part way through lunch but no service of refill or desserts. Paid via app in the end.

Great place, great food, great staff :) I go here often as I work close by. Quick shout out to Mo there, honestly gives some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! Thanks guys!

Sir Henry Royce

1-3 The Broadway, Peterborough PE1 1TA, UK – 01733 358070

Regular Sunday Breakfast Place....Decent food and good booze.. Service in the mornings can be better. But would rate a 4 out of 5

Yeah Henry Royce has a lot going on, the music is good, dancey and the dancefloor, not the biggest mind you was often full. The pool table was popular despite not having a light. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff were ok. The toilets were, yes you guessed it upstairs. There is a good mix of people getting in so all in all quite nice.

Argo Lounge

7 Bridge St, Peterborough PE1 1EH, UK – 01733 565255

Been there a couple times now. The food is really good and the staff is incredibly friendly. The cocktail menu is extensive and my partner and I loved them. Would definitely recommend going. It can be pricy for some people, but it's definitely worth the money.

Argo lounge is a great place for couples and small groups. Families can also eat here, but overall vibe I feel is more suited to the couple's and groups. Great selection of food all to be ordered at the bar. Staff are very efficient, friendly and best thing for me and my wife is the clgood selection of vegan food, as this is starting to expand into a lot more mainstream menus. It is reasonably priced without breaking the bank and water is available at the bar all the time with a 'help yourself' service. Overall a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Stoneworks Bar

8A Church St, Peterborough PE1 1XB, UK

Excellent micro bar. With a great choice on taps and in the fridge for beer. (Cocktails look good too). Has a few tap takeovers so keep an eye on Twitter.

Like craft beer? Like a huge smattering of IPAs intermingled with plaid shirts and man buns? What to be trendy and working class at the same time? This is the place for you. In all seriousness the beer is reasonable price the selection is good and the atmosphere is clean and well kept. Good place to toss back a few with friends in a quiet atmosphere sans techno music.

Peterborough Chinese Restaurants

The Grain Barge

Embankment Rd, Peterborough PE1 1YY, UK – 01733 311967

A lovely meal had for a table of 11, food was really amazing and so much of. Staff was brilliant and took very good care of us all. Wont being leaving it long before we are back again. Well worth a visit if your in town .

Been many times before and always love to eat there when we are in Peterborough. Lovely friendly welcome and good service. Food always good.

Noble Eater Chinese

25 Oakleigh Dr, Peterborough PE2 7BG, UK – 01733 232253

It is very difficult to find a good Chinese carry out in Peterborough, most seem to lack flavour and use too much fat. Noble Eater is tucked out of the way in a small parade of shops, seek it out, you won't regret it.

Always order from here, great food and service

Happy Valley Woodstone

40 Oundle Rd, Peterborough PE2 9PA, UK – 01733 314633

Food's good but it's expensive - definitely better value for money elsewhere

Peterborough Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

Handmade Burger Co.

The Old Still, Westgate, Peterborough PE1 1PY, UK – 01733 345502

Good variety of burgers and sides. Spacious outside seating. Worth a stop for a more relaxed and much better quality offering than your average fast food place. They accept online vouchers and deals as well. £30 For 2 diners with more sides than we could ever eat !

Very friendly staff, quirky and enjoyable decor. Food was delicious - tried the peanut butter and bacon burger with chilli jam and the flavours worked together really well. Only critique was that there was probably too much chilli jam as a lot of it dribbled out onto my hands. Whole experience was great and would definitely recommend this place.

wagamama peterborough

37-39 Long Causeway, Peterborough PE1 1YJ, UK – 01733 889851

As a lover of all Asian food I have no problem embracing the chain concept of wagamama. I always get a decent meal and this one was as good as always. Fried dumplings for starter, duck noodle dish for mains, both good. Service was efficient and friendly and although I always think it’s a bit pricey for a chain I had a good meal so can’t complain.

Great staff. The Vegan choices are few but wonderful! Amazin fruit juices! Nice environment. I do recommend i!

Pizza Hut Restaurants

Carr Road Industrial Estate, Peterborough PE1 5YA, UK – 01733 892929

Went for weekday lunch in a party of 12 and had the all you can eat buffet. Good value at £7•50 . The salad bar was included and had a good choice. Pasta was fairly basic. There was a constant supply of various pizzas - at least 6 varieties. There was unlimited fizzy drinks at £2.90. Would use again

Friendly staff. No waiting for table Saturday lunchtime. Lovely fresh salad bar. Yummy pizza. Very filling ended up taking quarter of it home

Pub Food with Reviews, Maps and Links to their websites

O'Neill's Peterborough

Broadway, Peterborough PE1 1SQ, UK – 01733 553142

One of the best pubs in Peterborough, the prices are reasonable and the staff were quick and polite. The decor is as you expect in a pub chain it was roomy and comfortable and quite relaxing. The toilets are downstairs which was good for some of our company who cannot manage the stairs in other pubs.

Respectable service. Good prices. Nice amount of screens. Would advise management not to turn sound off too early during sporting events.

Charters Bar

Town Bridge, Peterborough PE1 1FP, UK – 01733 315700

A barge on the river, a great place, very relaxed, a large and varied selection of draft and cask beers. The Asian food was good. A must visit.

A very unique place and a must for stopping off on the way into town for a drink, or even for an evening out it itself. Outside seating area is a great little suntrap in the summer too. Nice selection of craft beers along with the usual stuff. They host some good events in the bar and garden too.

The Sportsman Pub

61 Eastfield Rd, Peterborough PE1 4AS, UK – 01733 312126

Very good owners & Staff at this place.
